The event was an invitation only - 22 player Men's* Singles event
(*along with Beth Bellamy the top women's player)
Six qualifying matches were played to determine a group of 16
that played a grueling double elimination tournament
The field included virtually all of the top players in the
world including recent premier tournament winner
Don Schwake who has established himself
as the world's best player - next to Freedman
